I wanted to acknowledge Les Walker for his exemplary services he provided me as a PROFESSIONAL REALTOR to selling my home during the coldest months of the year December 2022. Les Walker and I have known each other for years and we both have the same business ethics and great sense of humour, I previously hired a realtor to sell my home. What I encountered were disasters and disappointments and cancelled the realtor after 30 days. .I called Les the next day identified my situation and without hesitation booked an appointment the next day, Les knowledge and experience provided me a comparable market analysis of my area, and selling my home in the coldest month of the year. Les always has a positive attitude and a smile and within 7 days I received a offer on my home. I was delighted with his services throughout the entire process of selling our home. Les provided me with extremely helpful advice and guidance every step of the way and ensured that I understood all aspects involved in selling our home. Les Walker has gone above and beyond the job requirements, often working long hours and dealing with negotiations to ensure that everyone involved in the transaction were satisfied.  Les is worth every penny and I would never think or ask that he sell my home for free a favor or discounted commission, as I have read others review, . Les did his job to the best of his abilities, and is deserving of what he did to selling my home as a seller. I would highly recommend Les Walker as a realtor to sell/buy our next home. We were recommended Les from a fellow coworker and could not have been happier with his service.  He was very honest in what he thought about the houses we looked at and pointing out items I may not have caught onto.  We were able to get into our dream house in Langdon even though we had competing offers on the house he steered us in the right direction for our offer and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.   On the sale of our old house in Calgary Les was very appreciative of my attention to detail and gave me some good staging tips to sell our house.  We sold in the peak of Covid without issues and was only on the market for a few weeks before we had multiple offers.  Again his help in closing the deal was great and we feel we got exactly what we were looking for for our old home. I highly recommend and will use him again if we ever need to sell or buy again. Even after the sale and purchase of our new house I received a couple of follow up phone calls to ensure we were still happy with the new place and to make sure all was good with our family. Is there a zero rating? I found this site while researching Calgary realtors and felt compelled to leave some feedback on my experience utilizing Les Walker as my realtor. Les and his wife were family friends of ours for over 10 years (at the time), and when my Mother mentioned to Les’ wife that I was in the market for my first home (age 26), they offered to assist and promised “I would be looked after”. We toured a few homes in my desired area of Calgary, and happened to come upon a new build in a growing community. After touring the home, loving it, and wanting to proceed with a purchase, Les said that as we were “family friends” he would refund 100% of his commission to me to get a head start with new home ownership. Several months after the deal closed, Les was reminded of his promise and it was only then when he stopped by my home with a cheque for... $1,000 (and then acted like he was doing me a favor). Les reneged on his word and chose his commission over a long-term family friendship (and any potential future business with me or my family). In my opinion, that speaks volumes about his character. It is also my opinion that Les Walker is untrustworthy, unqualified, and lacks integrity. If you have found this site doing due diligence on Les Walker, PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE NOW! Pros: answers questions, responds via text or email (written documentation), friendly Cons: let's things slip past (i.e. when other realtor tries to pull a shady move, I caught it instead of Les), no thank you "swag" on possession date (I'm jealous of all the awesome "welcome home" gifts other people have received from their realtor) - Private

First of all he was 1/2 hour late and did not even bother to notify the seller,and he does not even bother to take off the shoes when shown up in seller property and he did not demonstrate any professionalism at all at the showing. - joy

Ensure you get *everything* in writing with this realtor. He can get carried away and talk a big game but then go back on his word.
