She did not even take the certificate of location and papers to the notary until the very last minute, just as we showed up for the signing. This resulted in a huge mess when at the very last second the notary discovered that when we had been told the property was subdivisible we could not be sure it was. Our agent had not even checked although that was one of our definite conditions. She had not written it in the conditions of the offer either. The seller's agent was from the same agency and our agent acted as if she was scared of him. She did not even insist on the conditions being met by the seller. We are not stuck with a money pit of a house.
