It's not hidden to anyone that Victoria has a very hot real estate market similar to Vancouver, leading to many agents having an easy job buying or selling, and unfortunately, many of them having the expectation of closing a deal after a few phone calls and viewings. We had to change our agents within a few months of search, since we found them pushing us to put offers for the listings that we were clearly disliking. He also has a strong knowledge about buildings and construction, that help you catch some of the potential issues of a house without even doing a thorough inspection (although he was advising us to do an inspection, we trsusted his comments about the house we purchased, and closed the deal without an official inspection).
