Mr. Miller offered me a Sale by Owner just MLS posting at a charge of $888, during the listing time I got no offers and did not sell. As per contract that we signed, I was allowed to re-list my property any time in a year time frame. When I reached out to relist in April 2020, he DID NOT answer my emails now my calls and no reply, finally i have to call him from another phone. He never gave me an explanation of why he did not answer my calls, he was just avoiding me. Finally once we met, he told me that the deal of re-listing was not an option anymore, and he forced me to use him as a full commission realtor. which I said no, because we have signed a contract, and since last year once the listing expired he never contacted me to let me know that the only MLS listing was not an option any more. I was really upset of his attitude and Reported him to the Victoria Real Estate Board - Professional Standards Complain. After 3 hearing with different realtors and he was found guilty of breaching article 5 The Hearing Panel proposed that he be reprimanded, fined $1,000 and required to complete, at his own expense and without PDP credit, the UBC Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course. It's a shame that some Realtors are Trying to take advantage of their clients. It's a shame!
