To buy our first home, we used Angela Brown through Coldwell Banker BSSP of Clackamas, OR and Vancouver, WA. Originally, Angela was very friendly and made us feel like we could trust her. But she manipulated us greatly, was very pushy, opinionated and dishonest. Before we made an offer on our house we wanted to walk back in and jot down any problems we saw. Angie outright refused to let us back in and assured that the inspector would find anything that was wrong. She pushed hard for a fast closing date, vaguely explaining the process when asked. A day after the home was inspected, she put us on the spot demanding an immediate answer as to if we were going to move forward with the house (giving intense pressure to move forward). We were worried about the maintenance/overgrowth of the yard. Angela convinced us that it was not a big deal and since she knows about this stuff, it would only be a few hundred to fix the yard. Within two months we spent over $2K on problem trees. She contradicted herself in separate conversations multiple times. She never informed us that we could do a final walk through before signing. She said that it is her job to find the inspector, who turned out to be a complete joke. We would not ever recommend Angela Brown.
