A little background on me, I have been investing in real estate for well over a decade and a half which was the reason why I became an agent in the first place. I felt it would be a great way to get fully involved in what was going on in the markets and it would also give me the opportunity to "pay it forward" to all of my clients/future clients to not have to go through the pitfalls that can come along with investing. My business partners and I have been investing in real estate, either commercial/residential properties via long term rentals, short term city wide airbnb and vacation rentals in Canada, Central America, Florida for a combined 20+years.
If you are looking to purchase your first home today or just trying to figure out what you need to do in order to make it a reality a year from now, I completely understand that it is a huge step in your life and it can be very overwhelming to try wrap it all up into one conceivable package, that's what I am here for, to walk you through it all, step by step until the end. I believe in clients for life, not a, one and done approach so I want to make sure you are happy the day you get the keys to your new home and that you feel you can call me 2 years later for a trade reference or some education on how to get into your first investment property.
I have an amazing team of mortgage brokers, lawyers, inspectors, and trades of all kinds that I have vetted over a decade and a half, and I truly feel they are the best of the best. The best realtor I have ever worked with. As an ‘amateur’ investor with homes in multiple provinces, and overseas I have worked with many realtors to help me with the buying and selling of properties. A quick listing came to my attention and Jody was recommended by a friend as my regular realtor was out of town/nit in cell service. I had been looking for a rental and found one I was interested in. The listing was hot and I knew it wouldn’t last long so Jody was able to get me in the next day and closed the deal in 3 days with the price I wanted. It was a great phone call, one I’ll never forget “you got it!” Quick and clean possession. Jody also gave me some great ideas for the future in The possibility of upstairs laundry and close off the family room for better sound proofing that he had seen in other homes with similar floor plans.
