Were do I really start with Calvin without making this an essay. Calvin and I met by accident you can say but I would say it was God truly. I had no agent and this was the first time buying a home and had little knowledge of the market and all that went with it. Calvin was selling a house that I went to look at and from the get go he was courteous, patience and understanding.
After that night he was my agent and 'no' I did not even get that house. We started looking for other homes that was a bit more in my budget. He showed me areas I never even knew/heard about and broke down the resell etc for later on. Because I was now coming out of a divorce etc my head was truly not in the right place at times, you would think that someone would use that to their advantage....not Calvin!! Skip a few months forward, we found a place and FINALLY I found something that I wanted and it was a bidding war/4 others interested in my home. All I can tell you I went to the states for the weekend and said bye to the house because I knew I had not a lot of funds to be back and forth in a bidding war. About 6 hours later I go the the call in the states 'calling me a home owner' hhhmmmm I was like 'homeowner' not to the one I wanted clearly but low and behold it was. All I can say the other agent said to me my realtor is 'a good man and he wanted that house for you'. I am STILL in this home 4 year later and STILL thanking Calvin to this day. He has helped me in financial education also which has bettered me to make better choice in life. So a realtor, advisor, business minded man, confidant, financial mindset and many more he is the man for the job!! Thanks again Calvin Douglas and here's to many more!!
