When we listed in early February there were very few comparable properties for sale. We went with the price that Cynthia suggested which seemed a bit low but definitely plausible. By pure chance, on the day we listed another house in our set of townhouses went on sale for 50k more. Cynthia initially stood by her price but after we started getting a tonne of interest, she suggested we change strategies and go with "holding offers". This turned out to be a great idea and we are really happy with the price we got. There were parts of the bidding process that we found very stressful but Cynthia calmly handled everything and seemed to be in her element. Cynthia was quick to respond to all of our questions and issues. The stager she works with is amazing. Cynthia also has an excellent electrician and handyman. - Greg

Cynthia Ostos and her team check all of the boxes: knowledgeable, responsive, professional, flexible, and they get results. They also *care* which helps through what can be a very exhausting and emotional process. Cynthia guided us through the process end-to-end, giving wise advise, and blunting pain points where possible. She didn't 'blow smoke' or set up unrealistic expectations but instead focused on real world data, provided context and options, and prompted responded to our many questions. We're based on the U.S., the executor is in another city, and we were trying to list and sell a deceased family member's property, which added delays and complexity. Cynthia's experience and her team's ability to cover all of the bases served us well. One of the biggest challenges was dealing with seller agents and let's just say 'readiness levels vary greatly' across Ontario. Cynthia managed multiple offers, some ridiculous or incomplete, and saw the final one through to completion, in spite of multiple hurdles and curveballs. I interviewed an number of agents prior to deciding on Cynthia. I chose Cynthia because of her personality , experience and marketing strategy . She did not make unrealistic promises. My parents were looking for a bungalow to downsize into after selling our family home in Mississauga. Cynthia was able to find them the perfect bungalow in Milton in record time. When it came time to submit an offer on the property she educated them on the market and ways to ensure we would secure the house.
