To say that Amanda goes over and above what her role is would be an understatement. From day 1 it was clear that it was all about us and what we were comfortable with. There was no pressure to list immediately, she gave us room to get the house in order before hand, and to make sure that we were ready to go. She was all about meeting our needs, including connecting with staging services. Amanda always showed up ready to chat, with research on the market, a smile on her face and willingness to make things as smooth as possible. Vantage West offers a "Coming Soon" preview and set our listing up for a countdown to being on the market. The first day of being "live" on the market we had multiple viewings, and 2 offers. Amanda's organization and communication had us in the perfect position for a sale and she walked us through every step of the negotiations and before day 1 was done, our house was sold! As we were getting ready for our own move Amanda checked in, recognizing how overwhelmed we were she offered to set up move out cleaning and services to ready the house for the new owners. She would take time to listen and then offer to investigate how to help or offer solutions. The day before handing over the keys our movers arrived up to the house, and things went very poorly, my husband was dealing with it alone and beyond stressed out. Amanda was able to find a way to lift some of the burden off, and she went so far as to take a few of our belongings and hold them for us, to ship later. Things got bumpy one more time and with us being in another province we had to lean on Amanda to help us navigate things. We can't say enough how many times we said thank-you, how often she came to our rescue and how encouraging she is. Our sale was completed, and she didn't walk away, but helped us wrap things up. Any prior moves we made were without children and a dog and were always a relatively short distance. Moving to a new province made this by far the biggest move we and added so much in the way of complexities. Our moving company had made so many mistakes with storing our belongings and moving us in, this, after the nightmare of moving us out. When so many others failed us in so many ways, Amanda represents every good thing with our sale and move, stable, reliable, patient, understanding, and filled with grace as she represented us.
