Cool, calm, collected and completely professional are words that come to mind in describing Andy. Due to old age, failing health, and the realization that we could not do the upkeep on our home or do the improvements to it that we had planned, we knew the time had come to move into an assisted living arrangement. We located one suitable to our needs but time was of the essence. We called a competing real estate agent and were very disappointed in his approach. He was very negative, suggested doing some work on the house which we thought would only lessen the value, then gave us a low-ball selling price. It was very discouraging not to mention stressful. After listening to him we thought we’d be lucky to break even. Fortunately someone whose opinion we respected suggested we give Andy a call. We did and never looked back. Upon first meeting him, he immediately put our fears to rest. We knew we were dealing with a professional. We told him what we thought was a fair asking price for our home. He did an evaluation and told us we were not being unrealistic. He knew the neighbourhood and was sure he could help us. We left it in his hands. A little over a week after he started showing the house he contacted us and said he had an offer. Well, not only had he one offer, he had three.
