Wow! Where to even begin? After buying my home in 2016 from a realtor who took advantage of my naivety, "doubled down" on the deal (she represented both myself and the seller and left me feeling as if I made the biggest realty bust of my life along with having severe buyer's remorse after the fact), I spent an absolute fortune thereafter doing renovations to try and make the home I bought more modern. From that, I listed my home on three occasions with different realtors only to be left feeling less than satisfied time after time and in which my home never sold - the experiences were nothing more than a complete and utter disaster along with a waste of time with open houses, useless feedback, only to be followed up with further price reductions and zero success. It was beyond frustrating! I finally had enough of beating myself up and decided to go with a realtor whose name I found online after doing some research rather than using the names of realtors randomly selling homes in my neighbourhood. His name - Andy Kloppenborg. Talk about receiving an awakening and gaining a renewed belief in realtors. Honestly speaking, this was the best decision I could have ever made! During the past two years, I had toyed with the idea of selling my home again. I called Andy several times and met with him twice - yet I also spoke with other realtors in the area whose flyers regularly end up in my mailbox (and was left feeling extremely resentful after meeting with them due to their ignorance and self inflated egos). Once again, I was afraid to press ahead again given my three prior failed experiences and decided to not list. However, in knowing and seeing Andy's genuine approach to his clients, including myself, I committed to Andy I would list my home with him eventually but I also went one step further and introduced my daughter to Andy. He was tremendously respectful in his approach to her and was dedicated in helping my daughter in not only finding, but seamlessly guiding her through the process and in helping her to purchase her first home in which she remains to this very day! Following his previous advise and in deciding this was indeed the time to try and sell based on a variety of factors, I ensured that my home was staged appropriately as per Andy's observations and recommendations. As such, when he came to meet with me on the Sunday evening during the time I arranged with him, Andy gave his thoughts on my efforts and on what I would need to do to move ahead. From that, he wasted no time in getting the home listed, his photographers in place, and in having everything listed online within less than 24 hours of our conversation. Andy was beyond true to his word - I expected that things should be ready by Wednesday as he had presented but they were already completed by Monday. His attention to detail is beyond description - the only way to truly understand this is to do as I did and place your full trust in his hands. I personally assure you will never look back or question your decision to do so in the first place! Andy kept me fully informed during the entire process - there was no need to do an open house nor was it necessary with his approach. Over six days, I was advised of 32 showings and on the evening of presenting offers, I was shocked that seven - yes, seven - offers were awaiting review. Not only did Andy deliver on his promise to sell the home and to try and get close to what I was hoping to receive - but he pushed me well over that limit and presented an offer that ticked every single box and provided a sale price beyond anything that I could ever have anticipated. As you can tell from this brutally honest review, I am not one without words but I can say with full certainty that Andy left me speechless. The years I wasted in working with realtors who had no invested interest in myself or my hopes to sell my home had finally come to an end in choosing Andy Kloppenborg. A fellow who I would recommend in a heartbeat to anyone hoping to make a decision to either buy or sell a house and in knowing he has your best interests at heart from the very onset!
