Andy is a good realtor. Our house sold quickly (8 days on market) and above list (although we listed below what he recommended in order to draw more interest), which I attribute to equal parts desirable neighbourhood, few available comparable properties, and Andy's marketing. One complaint I have is that Andy was completely absent immediately following the sale of our home, and I had to pester him for help in terms of 'to-do' lists to get ready to move, which I found annoying. It definitely made me feel like he wanted his commission and that's it. For this reason, I am not likely to use Andy in the future as a listing agent. I know of many people whose realtors gave them flowers, gift baskets, etc, as a thank you for their business, and who receive hand-outs with lists of people to contact, things to change, reminders of address changes with different government bodies, etc.; and we literally never heard from him the minute we signed the sale contract. He does his job, and I have no complaints in regards to his work as our realtor. I did not feel, however, that he was grateful for our business in the way that other realtors typically express gratitude on the sale of a house. As a buying agent, our experience was more pleasant. He was always available and quick to respond. He came with us to many viewings and I was never made to feel like we were a bother. We had put in bids on houses before we eventually bought and Andy was a great buying agent. If you tell him to go in for the kill, he does so aggressively. We ended up walking on a house after a dissatisfactory inspection and Andy was very respectful and helpful during the process. I would do business with Andy again as a buying agent.
