I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the conduct of our realtor, Betty Sharma, who represented our property for sale located Cambridge, Ontario.
Specifically, the issue arose when our property was sold, and during the interim period between the sale and the closing date, the buyer was permitted two visits to the property. Unfortunately, we were not informed or notified of these visits by Betty Sharma until the final week leading up to the closing date.
Upon questioning Betty Sharma regarding the unauthorized visits, her response was unsatisfactory, indicating that she allowed the visits due to the property being vacant. This action directly contravenes legal requirements, as realtors are obligated to inform property owners prior to allowing access to prospective buyers.
Furthermore, when pressed for an explanation regarding the state of the property, given its vacancy, Betty Sharma refused to provide any meaningful response, stating "no comments."
Despite my attempts to address this issue with Century 21, the response received was dismissive, with claims that such occurrences are not uncommon. Subsequent attempts to communicate with Century 21 have been met with silence.
