Bob Dawe was a tremendous help when we were moving from the mainland to Nanaimo. He was great at listening to what we were looking for and getting back to us quickly whenever we had questions. We started looking for a home in late 2022, but as we were going to be a way through the winter, we were really just trying to get familiar with the market, with a plan to buy the following spring. He set us up on his search platform, narrowing down properties that might suit us, and showed us many on request as well. Before we left for the winter, he sent us a listing with a little caption that said "This just might be the one"... and it was indeed. Lots of little things he did made a big difference; two that really stand out where he helped us find a lawyer who could complete the purchase in our absence, and he recommended a terrific realtor on the mainland to sell our home of 18 years over there.
