We are currently providing our attorney with all the information pertaining to this transaction. 1. We purchased beachfront property with a mobile home on it. At no time did Ms Drath advise us that this unit was missing its vital CSA sticker. This has now cost us a sale of the mobile home for approximately $50,000. 2. This same beachfront property is situated in an “archaeologically sensitive” area. Again, Candi neglected to mention that. We’re facing months of delay waiting on an archaeologist & additional costs for permits. 3. When the sellers & us couldn’t arrive at an agreement, we were sitting with a $5,000 gap in our numbers. Candi offered to provide that sum to ensure we closed the deal. We went ahead based on that incentive. However, at the 11th hour as we were getting ready to take our bank draft to the conveyancing office, she advised me the $5,000 amount was off the table. No explanation. Just not there any longer. We’ve tried to rectify these issues without going to an attorney, and without posting negative reviews. But we’ve had no success in arriving at a solution. I feel other buyers need to know the potential problems by using this agent.
