When we decided to start the search for our first home, my wife and I immediately reached out to Cagatay. A few years back, he had helped us find a rental unit in a condo while we weren’t even in the province yet. We had experienced how hard-working, flexible and patient he was. This time around, we knew we were working with quite a limited budget and hoped that we can have someone on our side that is supportive during this difficult task. After viewing over 30 houses in 4 different cities in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area, we finally found the one that we wanted to call home! And I truly cannot emphasize enough what an amazing support Cagatay was. A real estate agent may say that they want you to find ‘the one’, but they are also keen to maximize their commission and move on to other clients. Cagatay is far from that. He literally worked day and night, did a tonne of research on all the homes and neighbourhoods, and quite importantly, was very honest and transparent at every step. Even for homes we liked, he was straightforward with sharing his concerns — which we really appreciated. He was never pushy with the homes that seemed perfect either, and made time for us even on a short notice. Quite frankly he is also just a very lovely person to be around.
