Cindy was unresponsive and difficult to deal with during my tenancy. When I moved out she tried to steal my deposit, claiming she had accidentally undercharged me for rent. Having no legal grounds to charge me at this point, she tried to guilt me into letting her keep the deposit, saying things like "Please, I'm just a small business". After I refused, she did not return the deposit and stopped replying to me entirely. I was forced to file with the Office of Residential Tenancies and am now awaiting the hearing.
