To everyone out there, Dimitra is the best; let me explain. When my wife and I first started thinking about a house, one thing that concerned me was an agent. I was not a fan of agents, not on an individual level, rather, it brings to mind a reputation of pushing people towards paying more money on houses for personal gain and profit, something that my wife and I do not necessarily value. I expressed this sentiment to my friends, and they said "man I was the exact same, but we LOVED our agent, she is even coming to our wedding. You gotta try her. She is an ex-aerospace engineer and she is an agent because she wants to, rather than she needs to. She helped us see things in houses and never pushed us, not once. If anything, she dissuaded us from houses we loved because she saw wiring issues, or foundational issues, or other things we would have overlooked'. With such a raving review, my wife said sure, let's give it a try. So, we had a call with Dimitra, and I assumed it would have been us seeing if we would choose her, but really, it felt the opposite. Dimitra was trying to understand who we were, and what type of people we were. I quickly realized she was trying to understand if we were moral people, people who valued doing the right thing over the fast thing, who valued kindness over money. In the end, we were fortunate enough to move forward with her, and it was the best decision ever. My wife and I looked at over 20 houses in 2.5 months, and whenever we asked Dimitra if it was too much, she said 'no, lets see more'. She helped persuade us (largely me) out of several houses that in hindsight would have had huge problems. She also helped support us by giving us confidence and a reassuring smile whenever we had questions or needed help. Throughout the whole process, she was by our side, and we both felt so cared for. When it came time to finding the house, you could tell the impact she has had on the world around her. So many people were there to give help, lending favours, and when she said 'Ill get yuou back', they all replied 'don't be silly, I owe you so much'. This speaks volumes about Dimitra. She is, at her heart, a truly good and beautiful human, and we feel lucky not just to have had her as our agent, but in our lives as our friend. And that is where we leave it, not as an agent and client saying goodbye, rather, the start of a beautiful friendship. Dimitra, Simon, and Gary, are an amazing team, and we cannot thank them enough.
