In 2024, my husband and I were empty nesters, and in a tough Canadian market, we were looking for a property that would meet our needs as an in-law suite, while finding something big enough for my daughter to have ample space for their growing family. The process was lengthy to find the right place for our family, but Doug was very patient and knowledgeable about every property we saw. Doug helped us to see potential and pit falls and ultimately lead us to the property of our dreams. We found the perfect in law suite with more than what we wanted, while my daughter and her husband were elated for the house that was 5 time bigger than their 2-bedroom condo.
