George was professional at first, very approachable. I rented a townhouse through him as he represented his mother for the transaction. When I started renting the place however and came into multiple issues I first contacted my landlord with no resolution. I was then contacted by George who was representing me who stated I should consider moving if I was not satisfied with the state of the rental. The Rental was a smoke free rental very clean upon showing as my daughter has respiratory issues I chose to rent it and i was very clear on this when I rented the place on how there must be absolutely no smoking. Being a new 3 unit townhouse rental I was told there was strictly no smoking. Upon moving in I found both of my neighbors on either side of me smoked, the rental was not cleaned properly prior to moving in and I ended up having to complete all cleaning including cleaning out the heating vents which were filled with dust and had drier sheets stuffed inside to hide any odours. My daughter began having increased respiratory issues and I was forced to move again being at 6 months pregnant working only 3 weeks. I was promised my last months rent back and when I requested it back after starting to move I was met with hostile comments about my daughters fathers appearance and denied last months rent back. I still have the messages from George on my phone in regards to this. And told i was left by my boyfriend and that’s why I had to move out.. when I was the only one on the lease and had been single prior to getting the apartment. None the less… It’s quite sad what this realtor is willing to do to a single mom in this world for a buck. I was so shook by this event it took me some time to write this review.
