I truly could not have asked for a better realtor than Heather! When we were interviewing realtors, Heather was the very first to respond, and she immediately stood out. She came incredibly prepared to our meet-and-greet with a presentation, and her organization, friendliness, professionalism, and knowledge of the market gave us so much confidence in moving forward with her. From there, our experience was exceptional. We were searching for a home from abroad, so we really needed someone who could be our eyes and ears on the ground - and Heather was exactly that. She was incredibly honest and thorough with every property she viewed with us, and her attention to detail was unbelievable. She would point out things about homes that I honestly felt like only an inspector would notice! We always felt like she had our best interests in mind and wasn't just trying to make a sale. One of the things we appreciated most was that no request ever felt like too much. She was always willing to go see properties for us, often on short notice, and she consistently worked around our schedule. We truly appreciated how flexible and accommodating she was throughout the entire process. Heather was also an amazing person to bounce ideas off of. She has experience renovating homes herself, so she had such a great eye for seeing the potential in a property and helping us think through what a home could become. Her perspective was incredibly valuable when we were looking at properties that needed some work. Her knowledge of the market was another huge asset. We ended up putting in three offers, and Heather worked with us late into the evenings to make sure everything was done on our schedule. Her guidance around pricing was spot-on. We lost the first two homes, but we were comfortable with our offers because we knew we wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't get them - and both homes ultimately sold for prices very close to what Heather had predicted. When we found the third house, we knew it was the one we really wanted. We trusted Heather's advice, followed her guidance, and got the house! She was an excellent negotiator, and we were able to purchase it for under asking and then negotiate further after the inspection. We've now been in our new home for about a month and absolutely LOVE it. Looking back, I honestly can't imagine having gone through this process (especially from abroad) with anyone else. Heather was knowledgeable, responsive, honest, incredibly hardworking, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right home.
