This was not my agent, but the selling agent for a property I was interested in purchasing at Kaufman Lofts in Kitchener. I had wondered why such a beautiful condo had been on the market for 90 days until seeing the level of unprofessionalism and incompetence this man displayed. It took about 6 days of sending the contract back and forth, not getting clear answers from him about what price his clients were willing to accept. He either outright lied or just wasn’t communicating properly to my agent or his clients, no one will ever know. When we finally did settle on a price, he sent an offer back that had numerous mistakes ( my name spelled incorrectly, one of his sellers listed as the buyer with me, then me listed as the seller on the next page, along with entire parts of the document now missing). He refused to fix the mistakes when confronted. Naturally, the only option at this point was to walk away. I had even agreed to pay more for this condo than what was considered market value. It felt like this man was doing everything in his power to prevent the sale from going through and he wasted the time of all parties involved.
