Buying an acreage was completely different from buying a regular house and we learned that pretty quickly. There were things like the septic system, well, property boundaries and outbuildings that we had never dealt with before. Our Realtor pointed us in the right direction for the inspections and made sure we had enough time to do our homework before removing subjects. We eventually bought a property that checked almost every box for us. When we sold our previous home, they handled that sale as well. We never felt rushed into making a decision just to get a deal done.
