Joel was the selling realtor for a house we put an offer on. He did answer promptly a call for the open house on an inner city property which we went to see. However when we put an offer in for the house that he thought was too low he was beyond rude and condescending, past the point of belligerence to us and our realtor. In Joel’s own words he said “you should educate yourself and your buyers before submitting offers like this”. I would give zero stars for professionalism if this was an option. Anyways this helped us since in the end we got a much better house for the same price which fortunately was with a different listing realtor. Thanks Joel, glad you missed out on 30K+ commission on our deal!

Our goal is to reach our client's needs to the best of our ability and sometimes the home buying process can be a learning curve on the other end- and vise versa at times. My entire real estate career is based on inner city properties so I know the values well. In the end, we did end up accepting an offer a week after yours was presented in the tune of $200k more. I apologize for you taking any offence, however the offer negotiating was only between myself and your agent.
