My wife hired Kirsten as our realtor, as she felt Kirsten most closely aligned with us in age and life experience, and came recommended well by others. I was skeptical of the entire process because of how horrific realty is here these days. I confess this was out of ignorance, but I still went into our first showing expecting nothing and figuring I would still be disappointed. I immediately had my notions challenged by meeting Kirsten, who was wonderful and friendly, helpful and didn't bother trying to sell obviously incompatible properties to us. Over the next few months she made herself always available, always on top of everything (which was a lot, and difficult for us with a newborn), kept track of every part of the process for us, was always immediately responsive no matter what time I reached out to her and in fact changed my attitude toward the whole thing so entirely that I looked forward to viewing homes with her.
She even went around to a house I had really liked and spoke to the owner about a sale before the house went to market, which I really appreciated. It's a good thing the owner wasn't willing to play ball because we found something much better and more suited and that house as of this review 3 months later is still on the market.
When we found "the one", Kirsten worked diligently and made every part of the process understandable and easy. Even when I asked the same questions over and over again, she was patient and reiterated as though it was the first time I had asked. This helped make the closing of the property smooth, seamless and took so much off our plate so we could focus on other things and just had to show up here and there to move things to the next stage. I trusted her completely by the end.
Even move in day she went out of her way to come outside her normal hours to ensure everything went well, and sent a few lovely gifts for us to help ease the burden of moving (which I did on my own, so I was just wrecked, and really super appreciated her gestures).
All in all Kirsten changed my mind altogether through her diligence and friendliness and thoroughness and I would have no problem recommending her to our friends who are beginning to look for homes, since she made finding and buying ours easy.
