Lindsay was my realtor for both selling my condo townhouse and purchasing my very first single family home. I’ve been dreaming of buying my first real home (with a backyard) for years, but always felt like it was just outside of my reach. I met Lindsay in 2023 through BARC’s rescue - we are both volunteers. She told me to contact her when I was ready because she could help. For me, a mutual love of dogs and a gut feeling is why Lindsay was an easy choice for me. I’d learn very quickly, and repeatedly, just how lucky I was to have her in my corner for this major step in my life. The purchasing process was so easy, with Lindsay walking me through every single step. I asked all kinds of questions because I had no idea what I was doing. She made multiple trips out of town to view houses with me…many of them were far from the “one”. Until we found ourselves in a small town an hour outside of Calgary, with an enormous yard for all my dogs (resident and foster), and I knew she’d found me my dream home. Once I decided I had to have it, she went to work doing what she does best. She made the buying process a breeze, and then went to work selling my townhouse. The selling process did not go as planned, with the market suddenly changing almost the moment we listed, but Lindsay went above and beyond in so many ways. My staging photos have items that came directly from her very own house! She spent many weekends hosting open houses for me, and even loaded up my dogs into her own vehicle to help make showings happen if I was unable to. She explained things when I felt overwhelmed and was always there to guide me through it all. This was my first time buying and selling, and I could not have done it without you, Lindsay! While you wore the hat of realtor for this “transaction”, I’m lucky enough to also call you a friend.
