Marcus was incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market in Saint John, but he is also very sympathetic. It was a very difficult time because we had to sell due to a death in the family. Marcus spent probably an hour and a half doing the valuation of our home, before we had even hired him. He advised us of which minor repairs and updates would bring more value to the sale, and which would not. He even recommended someone to do it, who was also great. He is very good at dealing with family drama that came up while getting ready for the sale, validating both people without taking sides. He handled it very professionally. When it came to the sale itself, he recommended that we show the house for five days, and then take offers on the sixth day. We ended up with twelve offers, all well over asking price. We really couldn't have asked for somebody better to sell our home.
