I used Matt Kopan to list a property in Vancouver while I was living/working in Alberta. Because of work conflicts I was unable to go to Vancouver and prepare the property for sale myself, and almost all of the sale related activity was conducted remotely. I will go through the process and outline my impressions at each stage. During the listing and property preparation process Matt provided solid advice, good referrals to service providers who could do work for me at a reasonable price and provided oversight to make sure the work was handled properly. Marketing activities; Matt ensured the property was well staged, provided excellent photographs, had an excellent, professional video prepared, provided a strong online presence for the listing and high quality brochures for clients viewing the property. Communication; Matt established a WhatsApp group for myself and family members and documented every showing with feedback included from all potential buyers. If feedback was not provided initially, Matt would track it down and forward it to us. Realistic and timely feedback made it easy to make adjustments for market conditions in a volatile market. Eventually we received multiple offers and each was well and fully explained in a manner that assisted my decision making. Follow through; after we had an accepted offer in place Matt followed through with good communication to all the realtors, kept up to date with me through the process, and was diligent in keeping on top of several small issues that came up during the process. Prior to this I worked for an organization where I transferred frequently and had bought & sold thirteen properties before this one. Matt provided the best real estate experience I have had with any property transaction. I can highly recommend him.
