In my experience dealing with strata property manager Mike Weatherly, I found the level of professionalism and responsiveness to be extremely disappointing. Communication was often poor, with emails going unanswered and concerns regarding repairs and maintenance seemingly ignored or significantly delayed. I also found there to be a lack of knowledge and initiative in handling strata management matters effectively. Rather than addressing resident concerns fairly and professionally, there appeared to be support or tolerance of toxic, harassing, and divisive behaviour by certain council members, which contributed to an unhealthy environment within the community. Based on my experience, I believe greater accountability and oversight are warranted. Residents who have experienced similar concerns may wish to consider filing a formal complaint with the BC Financial Services Authority regarding the conduct and management practices involved, as BCFSA investigates several specific categories related to incompetence and misconduct.
