Yesterday was my closing date on the purchase of a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with parking and locker condo in Toronto with Miranda. Working with Miranda was…. Well, it wasn’t work at all. Not for me anyways. Miranda was on the ball and one step ahead of at each stage in the process. At age 28, I am a nervous but financially secure and ready first time home buyer and Miranda is an extremely knowledgeable and patient agent. Available around the clock, and always ready to move fast, she was extremely respectful when I needed to pause for a moment to think and always emphasized that it was <<my decision>> when patiently presenting me with my options at every step in the offer presentation process. Between the offer acceptance and closure date, she was available for questions and recommendations of any kind (anything from “what happens if my couch doesn’t fit through the door” to “do you have any recommendations for a lawyer/a moving company/a painter/a local independent contractor”). As a Toronto local, Miranda knows the city inside and out which meant showings were highly efficient from pick up, to drop off, to parking, to coffee recommendations in the area. Attention to detail is truly her area of expertise, on closing day, I was welcomed to my new home with the big blue bow of my dreams wrapped around my front door and a the sweetest surprises inside. I’ll leave that as a secret for her future clients but Miranda made every stage of the experience feel *special* and *meaningful* and I never felt like a [sales target], but I always felt and knew I was in good hands with a subject matter expert in Miranda. Miranda answered questions and performed tasks above and beyond that of a real estate agent – she is ALWAYS ON and truly understands the needs and wants of her clients…. Not because of ‘market indicators’ but because she will listen to you when you tell her what you need and what and she’ll ask you for more information and encourage you to think about things you may not have considered (what direction does the balcony face? Where will the TV go? Do those things matter to you?). Highly recommend working with Miranda. Anything she didn’t have at the tip of her fingers, she was able to quickly turnaround an answer for – either by extensive research or byway of the rich experience of peers at Core Assets Real Estate. I am SO happy with my new home (can you tell????) and Miranda made the entire process FLAWLESS. Thanks Miranda!! Can’t wait to work together again in the future.
