He was knowledgeable about the neighbourhoods and once we were back home, he was great at supporting us in our decision to make an offer via phone and email. He always had time for our many questions. He got our offer in on time despite our hesitancy and slow decision-making. We did not get that house - our offer was too low when compared to the winner. However, we felt good about that, as we did not want to over-pay. The competitiveness of the current market has made us want to wait and purchase something when things cool down. I told this to Mitch after much work on his part and he was completely understanding - he told us that "these things happen in this business." I really appreciated this response - he was not negative or annoyed at the loss of a potential sale. He just told us that if we changed our mind in the future that he would love to continue to help us out. Without a doubt, we will return to working with Mitch when things cool down a little in Nanaimo.
