The reason I didn’t hire Rachel was because I was unimpressed by her lack of local knowledge in real estate and she looked back instead of forward in her marketing research so I knew right away that we weren’t a fit. I hired a really competent realtor who pushed the sale for what it was worth and took no guff from the typical, extremely lazy, greedy real estate agents from Canmore. But in the end, Rachel was lucky to become involved because found a buyer who had no financial conditions for the sale. Rachel did nothing to earn the commission she received, but she did get a generous share from the realtor whom I hired. Rachel refused to allow any communication between the parties during the sale, which could have really helped us both get through a distressing process. Rachel did not allow any communication between the parties in order for a smooth transition to occur therefore it did not run smoothly and I felt invaded and violated by the sale, Instead of facilitating she controlled the entire process and interfered with our ability to move forward smoothly as homeowners. I did not hire Rachel because I saw a red flag and I resent that she got paid the whopping $24,000 amount of commission that she really never earned at all. My realtor was extremely forthwith and generous to allow Rachel to be paid that kind of money in this deal when she did absolutely nothing to have earned it. I truly resent all the lazy, greedy realtors in Canmore who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk, who get hired but then sit back on their haunches waiting for the world to change, all local representatives who are even more incompetent than she proved to be. The pickings are very slim for a GOOD, COMPETENT or HONEST realtor in Canmore and that is the sad truth of it. No I would not recommend Rachel Huggins at all for selling or buying your property.
