“We first met Rick Couvelier in the 1980’s when he established a business called Sherlock Home Inspection Service and remember reading an extensive article about his business in the June 30, 1990 Times Colonist. With this in mind we engaged him to do an inspection on our big old 1912 house and were most impressed at his attention to detail and thoroughness. Years later, Rick switched over to selling real estate and over the next decade or so both my wife and I attended several of his public lectures on “How to sell your home” and “pitfalls of selling your home”. We regard these lectures as extremely useful and necessary for anyone buying or selling a home. Where else are you going to get all the latest information free for the taking in one lecture? It is a remarkable public service. Recently we sold our big old house after living in it for 40 years and every room on every floor was filled to capacity- not at all the ideal selling situation; however, Rick patiently guided us through all that we had to do and engaged top profession people to measure up the entire house- inside and out- and to photograph every nook and cranny. We had quite a few immediate and substantial offers all above the asking price and were very pleased with the result of his hard work. Later on when we had to sign the appropriate documents and all the later initialling he came up especially to the house to show us how to electronically sign on the computer. He also helped us with our movers and even came up to the house to cheer us on as we wrestled with trying to get all our stuff out of the house before completion day. Rick has a very good team in his office who can’t do enough for you and has some excellent contacts with the peripheral disciplines that are so necessary to make these sales go off without a hitch. Sandra and I rate Rick very high in all aspects of the selling of our home.” Sandra & John Whittaker
