Sharon was very disappointing from the beginning but I gave her a chance because our kids were friends and I needed a realtor whom I felt I could trust. Sharon’s skewed priorities got in the way of a good relationship as she prepared for a Movember party rather than preparing my listing for its launch. Having nothing in writing for the first open house, 8 interested couples came through and none got a brochure to take away, as they were not done. I tried to work with Sharon to write the property description together but then she re-edited it on her own, cutting out half the content, which then made the listing completely uninteresting. Much too concerned with the jury of her peers, Sharon is gossipy and self serving, blurring the lines between professionalism and friendship so that one feels attended to, but also stabbed in the back by manipulation and maladaptive behaviour. In the end, it seemed she could not handle more than one listing at a time and therefore did not do her due diligence as a realtor. I had to fire her. Out of spite, she then lied all over town that I was abusive towards my child. What a nightmare, what a waste of time and money it was, hiring this realtor for anything real. Sharon Sime is unfortunately not a competent professional - and if you buy into the idea that she won the Best of the Bow Valley - keep in mind that it’s just an overrated local popularity contest and you’ll just basically shoot your self in the foot. Any positive representation from this realtor was non existent in my experience. For her to have liberally tarnished my personal reputation out of spite, because I had to fire her, all because she neglected my listing, was absolutely out of line and warrants a formal complaint to the provincial real estate counsel. Heads up, Sharon.
