In early 2024, the purchaser asked me as a former real estate appraisal consultant, (AACI) and long-time friend, to help her find a suitable small home in the Markstay-Warren area. I contacted several real estate agents. Only Shayne Malone kept me posted regularly on the availability of possible homes, priced within her tight budget. Finally, the property at 203 Pine Poultry Road came on the market, and Shayne notified me. At a pre-arranged time on May 9th, Shayne showed us the property. My friend seemed well pleased with the house, but was hesitant to commit herself. She asked my opinion to help her decide. I thought the property was in fair reasonable condition, but I suggested to her to include some conditions which her and I discussed thoroughly. Once I clarified her questions so she could understand clearly, the whole transaction was accepted to her satisfaction. End result, the offer was made, then negotiated, and finally accepted by the vendor and the purchaser. Thank you, Shayne for assisting us with the purchase. I believe she got a reasonably fair deal.
