Last winter, our family hired Shelley and her partner to sell our house. The initial contact was great, and many promises were made. Sadly, it was one of the most stressful times of our lives. Shelley not being able to make showings, and often having limited time for us (due to meetings with other clients) caused us severe anxiety and many sleepless nights. The house ended up selling, but MANY things were missed. We felt pressured to accept the offer instead of having our agents ask for an extension. All documentation was only provided in electronic form, which resulted in missing significant parts of the contract. Sadly, a litigation lawyer who got involved told us that realtors do not take any responsibility, and we were on our own. I won't share any details, but this experience left us with a very bitter taste in our mouths. Both Shelley and her partner gladly pocketed their commission, and the only party left with a hole (both financial and emotional) was our family. We were thinking long and hard about whether we should write this review, but we feel responsible for warning people about the potential implications of hiring Shelley.
