We found Stam through a google search looking for realtors who support rental applications in Toronto. We sent inquiries to a couple different companies, but from the first phone call we had with Stam, we knew he was going to be the right fit for us. To say he exceeded our expectations is an understatement. Stam was extremely knowledgable about Toronto neighborhoods, particularly in East Toronto where we were looking. He was thorough in his reviews of properties for us, and was picky (in the best way). We did much of the process virtually, and he ensured we weren't settling or ending up in a property that had an unknown downside for people unfamiliar with the city, like a major intersection or ongoing construction. His clear knowledge of the current real estate market made it easy for us to trust his perspective, and he helped set us up with realistic expectations while also keeping us hopeful and excited. He negotiated offers on our behalf, and truly went above and beyond throughout the entire experience. Beyond Stam's professionalism and expertise, he's also truly an incredible person. Moving to a new city (and a new country) was very difficult for us, and he approached us with an incredible amount of empathy, support, and encouragement. We cannot put into words how grateful we are to have crossed paths with Stam, and highly recommend working with him.
