In May 2026, we decided to sell our large home here. We are both 80 years old and wanted to downsize. Thomas’s daughter, Katrin, recommended a real estate agent to us. Tracey Manton turned out to be a wonderful stroke of luck for us!!! Tracey came to visit us in June, and we told her that we were looking for a smaller home and wanted her help selling our large house. We began looking at houses in June. Tracey quickly realized that we needed to tell her very clearly, and write down exactly what we were looking for. She took a great deal of time with us. Our priorities were: nearby shopping, a practical kitchen, no more than two levels, and a small garden. Because Tracey lives near us, she picked us up for every house viewing. Through her warm and open manner, we very quickly came to trust her completely and felt that she truly understood us. When we said “no” to a house, we always felt understood. Her patience and optimism helped us enormously. We have no experience with moving, and we told her that—and probably showed it too! Tracey gave us a great deal of encouragement and assured us that, eventually, the right house for us would come onto the market. After a few weeks, we found the right one. Even when we saw a house advertised online that we wanted to see, Tracey made it possible for us to view it. We have great respect for her dedication. And now her help continues. She has explained to us, step by step, what needs to be done and, of course, has also provided everything to us in writing. Tracey arranged for a home inspector, and on July 31, 2026, together with Tracey and the inspector, we examined the house with great care and attention to detail. We also received a written copy of the inspection. We feel confident that we have made a good choice with our new home. Tracey takes the time to answer every question and is always available to us. She is open, warm and humorous. We had to laugh about her punctuality—she was standing at our door exactly on the minute! We were able to exchange stories with her and always felt very accepted and comfortable. Because August is such a busy month for moving, we will be moving at the beginning of September with Tracey’s help. We would like to express our gratitude to her in writing. Thank you, Tracey.
