As a first time home buyer in this market I didn't know where to start, but I'm so glad I decided to work with Vanessa. I had called a few agents from the area, but after speaking with Vanessa for just a few minutes she was the obvious choice. Her experience really shines through and I could tell that she genuinely cared about my story from that very first call as well. She took the time to explain the whole process to me and always kept me updated to the minute with everything going on. She also got me in touch with a fantastic mortgage broker and home inspector that were both incredibly helpful - these recommendations saved me so much time! In this market we always had to move fast, it was often just a few days before a new listing would be off the market. I cannot stress enough how easy it was to organize a large set of viewings with Vanessa. She was always able to set things up, even when they were last minute. Regardless of the time or place, she always managed to get us in for a viewing. We saw so many places together that I've lost count, but that process is really important and Vanessa made it as fast and easy as possible. There were a couple setbacks along the way due to my own personal situation, but Vanessa was always understanding and kept in touch when I had to put things on pause for a few weeks. Despite that, she was just as enthusiastic to jump back into the market with me when I was ready. In the end we found the perfect place close to family outside the city. It's the perfect size, not too large, but it's quiet and has a lovely amount of green space around it. With the market the way it is, I didn't always know if we could pull it off, but we managed to get the dream home and I couldn't be happier :) lastly I just want to add that she's a super friendly and cheerful person, which really makes a difference when everything about buying a home can be so stressful. I learnt so much by working with Vanessa as well, which in itself is a great sign of success.
