We were not provided with the RECO information guide which would have informed and educated us before entering into a sales agreement. Vin pressured us into signing this agreement AFTER the sale was closed. His dishonesty in revealing the fact that he had dual representation only led to favourable results to his buyer. In light of this we were not given the opportunity to negotiate a more favourable commission. He copied the listing information off an old, outdated and expired listing. He did not vet the information, and we took a large loss relational to furnace/ac/water tank rentals. We were pressured to allow his buyer additional access to our property resulting in incurred expenses for entry. After the sale he pressured unrelentingly for a favourable review. This was very uncomfortable and awkward – even making a home visit to acquire it. Vin does not rise to the standards of RECO and we are pursuing their advice and guidance.
