If you’re worried about picking the wrong real estate agent, you can stop: you just found the perfect one. Yasmin Fues is the real deal. At your first meeting you’ll notice that she is bright, highly perceptive, and has exceptional recall of detail. She is very responsive, even answering text messages and emails well outside of regular office hours, and always willing to jump on the phone to talk through anything. She is candid, direct, and will ask the right questions to help you tease out your priorities as you review listing after listing after listing. Our experience was that she often felt less like an agent and more like a thought partner who really helped us get concrete about our needs. She brought a deep well of knowledge to our journey and helped us look around corners to identify what a given property would need not just in the short-term, but also over the next 10 to 20 years. Yasmin is down to earth, flexible, and treats your money like it’s hers, often taking time to lay out what she felt the homes we viewed were really worth, as opposed to what it would take to “win it.” She also has a great sense of humour, which was super important for us. Throughout all this she was exceptionally professional, ethical, and always felt like she was on your team. And, finally, my wife would kill me if I didn’t mention Yasmin’s patience. As an anxious, neurotic, over-thinker, my questions sometimes bordered on pedantic, and yet throughout the barrage of (sometimes stream of conscious) questions Yasmin was cool, empathetic, and never showed signs of fatigue.
