When the time came for us to sell our home, I was very leary of hiring a realtor. In 2017/18, we tried to sell our home and instead of the realtors being honest with us they only said what we wanted to hear. In turn, our home was well overpriced (for the current market) and without even one showing we took it off the market; which brings me to now.
I truly appreciated and respected Yvette Nasry's extensive knowledge of the market and her honesty in pricing our home. However, when she told us the asking price I thought "here we go again" and I convinced myself the house would never sell. But I could not be more wrong! By the fourth day it was conditionally sold for more than the asking price.
I truly believe due to Yvette's guidance, suggestions and wonderful staging she made this possible. By presenting us with a "map" she made the process much easier in a metropolis of confusion. By following her "directions" our home was transformed into a thing of beauty,
In closing, I want to add that selling a home is not solely about getting the highest dollar amount. What I feel is overlooked is that selling your home generates a wide range of emotions: fear, excitement, happiness and even some doubt. Technically, it is just four walls with rooms but it also holds memories and special occasions which you acknowledged and understood. It quickly became very obvious we were not a dollar sign to you but real people living a real life. That in itself meant the world to me! We were going through so much and having your compassion , dedication and undivided attention made the selling process much easier.
I now know amazing realtors do exist as I found one in Yvette Nesry! So thank you Yvette for all you did. Your knowledge, talent, skills, and empathy made it easier on us and your "go get em" work ethic turned our house into someones dream home.
