We were thrilled to find Zoi and her brother Mike while we were in Budapest, Hungary. We needed to buy a condo for our two sons in Victoria, BC, and they turned out to be an amazing team. Zoi and Mike were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and easy to communicate with. Compared to the other realtors we spoke with, the choice was clear. Leading up to our arrival in Victoria, they provided us with personalized market updates every day for two weeks. It was so helpful in getting us prepared for our condo search. Even with just two weeks to find a condo, Mike's information and guidance were invaluable. When we found the perfect place, we were able to make a quick decision, thanks to Mike's expertise. It was the 12th unit we visited, and we were overjoyed with our choice. At first glance, the condo seemed flawless, and we didn't think a home inspection was necessary. However, Mike insisted on getting one, and we're grateful we listened. The inspector discovered an issue with the hot water boiler, which was over 10 years old and needed replacement. The seller agreed to cover the cost, which amounted to over $2000. We can't thank Mike enough for recommending the inspection. As our time in Victoria came to an end, there were still tasks to complete before the closing date. Mike took care of everything for us, which was a huge relief. Even though the official closing day was June 1st, our sons couldn't move in right away. We turned to Mike for help, and he went above and beyond to secure the condo key from the seller two days early. It made a world of difference for us. Working with Mike made the home-buying process so much more enjoyable and less stressful. We genuinely appreciated his dedication and assistance. I highly recommend working with Zoi and her brother, Mike. They are an amazing team - both highly knowledgeable about the market and the different neighbourhoods. They make accurate recommendations to your needs with zero judgement and know how to professionally navigate a wide range of personalities. For example, when we needed to step away from house hunting, they respected our wishes but remained available when we were ready — and when we were ready, they worked incredibly hard to show us homes and give us advantages during these unpredictable times. Even if a home was sold, we were able to view a house to see what we should expect from other homes in that particular area. They had leads on what was coming up in our desired neighbourhoods, so that we can get viewings before an open house. During the 2 days I was in town, they both dropped everything to show me several homes in different locations so I could get a feel of the different areas. I don't write a lot of reviews but this one I have to. My wife and I met EXCEPTIONAL in Victoria, BC! Buying a home can be a wild experience and as a buyer you have to rely on your realtor to create a positive process, fill it with competent guidance and information. Zoi and her team mates Christian and Mike are the best team you can get. They know their market, they understand trends and most importantly, they understand buyer's needs and wishes. They also have patience to go along with exceptional domain expertise and this just felt good all along the way since, as buyers, we had a lot of questions. Zoi and here team were always responsive and reachable and we did feel like the only clients! There was never a "push" to get a deal done but always great advise and counsel.
