We purchased our new out-of-town home mid-August 2023. And sold our Lively, ON home end of August 2023! Our present Lively, ON, house was contracted for sale with Remax Realtor, Amanda Pellinen on Tuesday August 29.23. It went on the market on Wednesday, August 30.23. Approximately three hours on the market, the first couple who were just about to leave town for a couple of days, requested a visit with their realtor to view our house, "If they can be a pain in the but and come view it in 20 minutes." As they came out of our home, they expressed, "We are very impressed" and had a couple of questions for us. We chatted. They bought our property for $15,100 over asking--a cash offer with no conditions. We had two other viewings (2 pm & 4:30 pm) that day with another who was also able to pay cash with no conditions. Showings for Wednesday were cancelled. I (Carmen), was reflecting and thanking God recently for our first two previous properties being sold to first couples viewing our homes. The first home had two same offers, two couples wanting to buy it. I was praising God, for that & mentioned it would be nice to have that happen again but for higher than asking. We accepted an offer that evening and as we were signing the real estate documents for our present home, I realized, and now praise God again & again for answered prayers & blessings. He granted me the desires of my heart. WOW! We again sold to first couple and … for higher than asking! Realtor, Amanda Pellinen did a great Job for us. We are grateful to our out-of-town friend/ amazing realtor also, Amanda Carmichael, for highly recommending our Sudbury, ON, realtor, Amanda Pellinen and giving her our contact info. We agree, she is top in her field. She was precious & helpful every step of the process. It was a peaceful transaction. We are very happy with the sale and meeting the family buying our property. We are super happy for the buyers too--a wonderful couple who came with their lovely relative--the reason for their move here, back to Lively, ON. They also left closing date up to us. So, we are closing early October 2023, on the same closing date as our new home purchase. Praising God!!! We are so grateful for the quick sale of our house, the wonderful pics and drone areal views, her professional communications with the several realtors for their clients in getting us sold so quickly and for above asking.
