The relationship started off fine. He listened to what I wanted and did a reasonable job showing houses I was in the market for. The problem came when he was trying to close the deal. He offered me a $2000 comp to close the deal because he exceeded my max price by that amount. He promised me and even said he was shaking my hand over the phone. I was reluctant at first but he convinced me he was going to comp me to make sure I got the price I wanted. He only paid $500 and stole the reset. I chased him for almost a year to no avail. He stopped responding to email and didn't take my calls. Don't believe any promises he makes unless it's in writing from him. In fact I just wouldn't us him to avoid the problem to begin with.
