I originally left a positive review early in the process after being repeatedly emailed to provide feedback on RateMyAgent.com, and that first review simply reflected how things were going at the beginning, when everything seemed fine. After completing the full transaction and having time to reflect, I feel differently. Che was responsive and efficient in pulling property information. However, as a first-time homebuyer I often felt rushed and not properly guided, with important details never communicated, which caused unnecessary last-minute stress (even our lawyer was surprised). I also experienced microaggressions that made me uncomfortable, after telling Che I was from Vancouver, he asked me where I was “actually” from, which I found disrespectful as a person of colour. There was also subtle condescension toward my mother, who is a French speaker and speaks English as a second language. Overall, the experience felt more focused on closing the deal quickly than ensuring we felt informed, supported, and respected throughout such a major life decision.

Reply:    Thank you for letting me know your feelings. I sincerely apologize for making you and your mother feel disrespected as well as feeling rushed through the transaction. My goal is to do my best to help my clients everyday and I feel horrible that I didn't live up expectations with your purchase. I will do better going forward. I wish you both the best and appreciate you sharing your honest feelings.
