I wanted to take a minute to write a 5-STAR review for DANIEL WEISS at COLDWELL BANKER SLEGG REALTY. Our introduction to Daniel began a couple years ago, with the dream/wish/desire of my parents to retire to Vancouver Island. Daniel set us up with a web portal, updated daily, with properties that met their criteria. As the “move date” was flexible, we had time to browse. Daniel was always gracious about gathering more information, often viewing properties on our behalf and “downloading” his impressions - in direct relation to their needs.
I became involved late in the search, but Daniel adapted quickly and incorporated additional features that I felt were important. Some urgency was added to the process at that point, as I was motivated to complete the move before spring. Daniel took that pivot in stride! With his patience, and extensive knowledge of the island, we found a terrific property that met our (combined) needs. Daniel responded quickly to our texts, emails, and/or phone calls, making sure everyone stayed in the loop.
Daniel provided recommendations for a mortgage originator and attorney to assist me with a long-distance closing, as well as local references for an inspector, cleaners, a locksmith, and fireplace service. We have been very satisfied with everyone Daniel recommended; all have provided excellent, timely service.
From our initial “loose” search, to adding a party and changing criteria; from advice on making an offer, all the way through closing (and beyond!), Daniel went above-and-beyond to take care of three non-local buyers. My parents are now settled in a home and community they love; Daniel was instrumental in making that happen. THANK YOU!
