I have known James as a realtor since about 2009 but first used his services in 2016 to sell a condo in Port Coquitlam. My condo was a difficult sell at this time with the current 1995 build and with multiple different laminate flooring in the kitchen, hallway and bedrooms and dated colour scheme (beige/off-white/cream), white kitchen appliances, narrow (1.5”) white baseboards and door casements, brass door hardware, oak kitchen cabinets, formica (dense particle board) kitchen and 2x bathroom countertops, ivory coloured Decora light switches and receptacles and lighting fixtures. We were so happy and relieved as the condo had been costing us $500 per month over 5 years of having tenants and so much problems with them! The upgrades cost $20k, but resulted in a higher asking price of $60k, a quick sale and $40k profit after the mortgage and all costs including realtor were settled.
