I worked as a fellow Realtor in their office for 13 years. Now that I'm out of that business, these two are my go to for my own transactions and for anyone I know who is looking for a Realtor in the area. Some Realtors are really just in the business with selfish motivations and a lack of attention to detail. They are the polar opposite and long ago earned my respect with their dedication. You would be forgiven for thinking that as someone with real estate experience, I would feel comfortable trying to save a few bucks on commission and do things on my own. I've certainly had the thought, but I know that the laws, regulations and common practices are constantly shifting. This is not to mention the market itself which although less opaque than the rest, is much harder to understand the dynamics of when looking in from the outside. The stakes and the risks are too high for me to just depend on what I can grasp from life outside the business.
