A good real estate agent communicates well, is available, has knowledge of the area, knowledge of upcoming projects, experience negotiating, etc. These are basic skills and there are many others. Krista would not be where she is if she didn't have all of these. I won't even speak to them because these things are foundational skills that Krista has long surpassed. What made my experience different with Krista is: 1) her presence and 2) her network. Presence: I've purchased many properties and worked with many agents; with Krista I just felt like I had a powerful ally. Krista's market is extremely competitive and weak, uncertain, or under-represented buyers are at a disadvantage. With Krista I felt like I was immediately considered a player for the properties I was interested in, immediately in the conversation. This is a tangible aspect and can be the difference between getting it and not. Take my advice and dont overlook the significance of having a reputable, knowledgeable agent to represent you. Network: I cannot speak enough about the relationships Krista has with Burke Mountain players. In my case, I bought a presale home, so Krista's relationship with the developers was crucial. Release times are staggered, buyers are numerous, the whole process is a fast paced, high stakes maze. If I had walked in there alone, I would have been on the outside looking in. Instead, Krista was my voice at the table, in constant communication with multiple developers, keeping properties available for me until my family and I decided on one. I secured a great property that was incredibly highly contested in a dizzying market. I attribute that to having Krista's flawless representation. I won't be using any other agents for property buying/selling.
